Our Love Story
Rigel and CJ met November 10, 2021 through an online Christian dating app called Upward. Rigel initially started the conversation, but once they started talking, the conversation never ended (CJ was hooked). Their first date was about 2 weeks later, and lasted from 12pm to 10pm. Needless to say, they were locked into each other from day one, bonding over their love of Christ and Rigel's baking (she brought a dessert sampler to their first date).
Rigel knew a proposal would be coming after she caught the bouquet at her friend April's wedding, and CJ (finally) surprised Rigel with a marriage proposal on August 10, 2024 surrounded by their friends and family. They are excited to plan their wedding, start their life, and watch Marvels movies together until the end of time.
